If you are a fan of scents that turn your bathroom into a full-on winter bakery, you need to check out this collaboration between Bath & Body Works and the famous Milk Bar. Today, I’m sharing my experience with the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie soap, one of the favorites of this cold season.
The Aroma: A Winter Explosion
The scent of this soap is, without a doubt, the highlight. You know that “fresh out of the oven” aroma? That is exactly what this is. While cinnamon is the most dominant note, it doesn’t stand alone.
It is a beautifully crafted mix:
- Sweet & Salty: You can clearly detect the sugar and that distinct pretzel hint (toasted wheat with a touch of salt).
- Comfort: The cookie base brings a cozy, snuggly feeling—perfect for the winter chill.
It is the ideal combination for anyone who loves gourmand fragrances that aren’t just “sweet,” but have layers of toasted wheat and spices.
Texture and Performance
Despite the incredible scent and the fact that it cleanses the skin very well, I have one important caveat: the consistency. I found the product to be quite watery/diluted.
Given the brand’s reputation, I expected something a bit richer and thicker. It feels like the formula lacks “body” to truly feel like a premium product.
Is it Worth the Investment?
I snagged this on sale for $3.75. At that price point, the value is excellent, especially since the packaging is adorable and fits the winter decor perfectly. However, being totally honest: I wouldn’t pay full price. If you find it on sale, it’s worth stocking up for the scent alone, but the texture falls short if you are looking for something more dense.
