Garnier Fructis Grow Strong Apple Shampoo and Conditioner Review

This Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner kit brings back nostalgia. I used it a lot when I was a kid in Brazil. It smelled really good and cleaned really well. But after a few years, it stopped being sold in Brazil for some reason.

I found this product here in the US and it reminded me of my childhood. I ended up buying this big kit.

This version of Garnier Fructis has niacinamide and apple extract, it smells nice, but it doesn’t have the intense smell like the version I used years ago.

The shampoo has a texture that’s somewhere between a clear and milky shampoo. It cleans really well, but I found it a bit abrasive for my hair.

The conditioner has an immediate effect, it leaves the hair conditioned and easy to comb, but I didn’t feel any long-term benefits. My hair is feeling drier, and my hair is naturally very oily. I also use Minoxidil, which dries it out a lot, but the conditioner could help.

It’s a product that provides temporary “makeup”, but I don’t feel like I can use it for a long period of time. It’s a line that I wouldn’t buy again, but it leaves me with good memories.

Vegan product, says it helps against breakage, but I don’t feel that.
Paraben and petrolatum free.
